POSITION SUMMARY: Compiles and maintains accounts payable records; maintains spreadsheets; produces emails and formal business letters; performs accounting functions by performing the duties below: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment - Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks - Prepare journal entries for Payroll Expenses. - Answers all vendor inquiries - Prints all accounts payable reports
- Maintain accounts payable files - Analyze and Reconcile General Ledger Accounts - Prepares analysis of accounts, as required - Prepare reports as required by the auditors - Telephone Support of member billing Inquiries. - Receive & Return Calls from Members
- Research and solve payment discrepancies - Performs other duties as assigned - Provide a wide variety of customer service for customer and field locations - Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions - Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment - Assist with other related tasks Education and/or Experience: Associate’s Degree in Business,
Accounting or Finance or two to three years of AP experience preferred.
