Job Description:
The Position:
The Regional Giving and Training Director has two primary functions.

First, they provide consulting, training, and mentoring to non-profit ministries in fundraising, leadership, and board governance.

Secondly, they review and oversee all local grant applications and awards to local grantees.

The Regional Giving and Training Director's goal is to see each ministry learn needed skills to lead their organization effectively.

It is expected that all applicants posses a knowledge of and passion for:
Non-profit Leadership
Fundraising
Developing Ministries
Evangelism

Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one training, mentoring and creative solutions to ministries and boards that maximizes their existing resources and community outreach.

Presenting/facilitation of ministry workshops.

Evaluate grant proposals, perform due diligence on ministries and make recommendations for grant plans to donor.

Facilitate strategic organizational planning to derive specific action steps and timelines to progress.

Report ongoing performance of funded ministries to donor.

Use tools and resources provided by and collaborate with Mission Increase National in developing "best of" practices for ministries nation-wide.

Qualifications:
Have substantial experience in leading non-profit Christian ministries.

Have demonstrated experience with fundraising including building a case, major gift solicitation, grant writing and management, donor communications, capital campaigns, event management and board
development.

Be able to enthusiastically teach, challenge, encourage, hold accountable, and serve as a change-agent for non-profit ministries staff and board.

Desire to work with ministries in a "hands on" capacity through one-on-one training.

Have experience in public speaking and leading group discussions and/or workshops.

Be able to integrate Biblical principles of giving and leaderships into large or small group instruction.

Be highly motivated to see non-profit ministries fulfill their God-given vision.

Have computer skills using Microsoft Office products and donor management software.

Be a graduate of an accredited four year college or university.
