ACC Food Services
Coordinate meal and special event planning
Order food and supplies within assigned budgets; purchase items according to petty cash or reimbursement policies
Oversee the service of all meals and special events
Establish and maintain beneficial relations with food and supply vendors.
Hire, train and oversee student workers in conjunction with the Work Study Leader including the evaluation of each employee
Maintain facility areas to comply with all safety, sanitation, fire codes and guidelines
Provide an annual budget proposal to the Exec. Vice President
Coordinate facility and equipment maintenance of all facilities with maintenance and custodial staff as related to food and conference services
Schedule and oversee custodial staff
Continue departmental development
Communicate all information as requested or required by the Business Office
Maintain a positive, wholesome and nutritional dining and work environment

PCC - Catering and Conference Services
Book and schedule events and facilities on ACC, PCC and Housing Calendars
Provide menu and event design, costing and customer quotes to the Business Office and President or designee
Generate and disperse Function Sheets and Contracts to Business Office and President or designee
Order food and supplies as required for events, maintaining food cost percentages
Establish and maintain beneficial relations with available food and supply vendors
Maintain event files including bids, contracts, menus
Hire, train and oversee kitchen and service staff for events
Assist with event set-up, preparation, cooking, service and clean-up
Order custodial supplies
Continue PCC development and marketing strategies
Schedule facility maintenance and custodial services
Communicate all information as requested or required by the Business Office

Job Skills and Requirements:
A minimum of two years experience as a Director of Food Service, Executive Chef emphasis on production cooking
Strong cooking and prep skills
Currently possess or able to obtain a Certified Food Protection Manager certification within 90 days of employment
Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and work standing for long periods
Able to lead a food service team
Will attend all appropriate staff and faculty meetings as needed.
Will be responsible to find an accountability partner and friend to encourage spiritual growth and discipleship
