Prince of Peace Enterprises, Inc. (POP) founded in 1983 with headquarters in Hayward, California. The company distributes food and OTC products to multiple channels of trade including Food, Drug, Mass, Asian/Ethnic Markets, and Health/Natural Foods.
Prince of Peace is seeking to hire a National Sales Manager with experience selling to Food, Drug, and Mass. Strong food background is a plus. The ideal candidate should reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
This position is responsible for selling products into existing and new market channels, increasing market share, and maintaining good customer relations. Other responsibilities include managing national network of brokers, sales forecasting, and liaising with suppliers. Additional duties include tracking competitive activity and selling strategically against competitors, arranging in-store promotional activities and approving invoice deductions, creating and implementing marketing programs including advertising projects and promotional literature, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
Communication: Strong writing and analytical skills.
Experience: 5+ years sales experience with national accounts.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
Travel: 8 or more trips per year.
