Pioneers is a rapidly growing mission agency operating in 101 countries world-wide with more than 2,660 international workers. We are an evangelical, non-denominational ministry whose purpose is to initiate church-planting movements among unreached peoples. With mobilization bases in Africa, Australia, Canada, Europe, Asia, Latin America and New Zealand, our US headquarters is located in Orlando, FL near the international airport. All positions require evidence of a personal faith commitment to Jesus Christ and identification with a local church. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

 

Pioneers is seeking a high-energy, well-organized individual to support the Senior Vice-President/CFO, Senior Vice-President of Global Ministries,  and the Executive Vice-President as Administrative Assistant, Executive Team.  We are looking for a positive person with a strong ability to multi-task in support of the multi-faceted administrative functions required by the Executive Team including: organizing work, meeting schedules and  travel arrangements; data base maintenance; managing correspondence; assisting with the production of promotional materials; preparing reports;  providing administrative support for special projects;  and file management.

 

In addition to the above, the qualified individual will demonstrate: a vital relationship with God; a high degree of flexibility to shift between tasks quickly; excellent communication skills in both oral and written forms; able to type 40-60 words/minute; a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint; excellent organizational skills; a keen eye for detail and accuracy; and initiative to complete tasks.  The candidate should also have a firm commitment to Pioneers' core values and mission.  A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years administrative experience is preferred.

 

Based in south-east Orlando near the International Airport, this is a full-time position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience and role.
