Administrative Pastor - Alliance Berean Church, Alliance, NE

Alliance Berean Church is looking for an honest, capable, loving man of God to fill a full-time position as an Administrative Pastor, position available immediately. Successful candidate must demonstrate a passion for Christ and have a verifiable track record demonstrating the skills and character traits necessary to effectively organize and oversee all administrative aspects of the ministry at the Alliance Berean Church. Salary commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Always demonstrating a love for Christ and a sense of compassion for the lost, successful candidate must possess the ability to structure all ministries; recruit and train leaders; meet monthly with key leaders for evaluation and encouragement; help the church establish long range goals and create the steps necessary to attain those goals; report daily to the Senior Pastor, and monthly to the church Elders; oversee all ministries of the Alliance Berean Church including but not limited to: Sunday school, small groups, visitation (Mercy Ministry), Mens ministry, Womens ministry, AWANA, Missions Team, Prayer Team, Big Day outreach events, Youth ministry, in-house rallies, campaigns, etc...; bring new ministry ideas to staff meetings, occasionally teach and preach, occasionally host leadership training and retreats, etc...


The applicant must display a growing personal relationship with Christ. It is important that the applicants personal life reflect a sound foundation, grounded in Gods word, and with adherence to Biblical financial principles. It is important that, if married, the applicants spouse must commit to the church and ministry as well. Applicants belief structure and ministry philosophy must be in agreement with the Alliance Berean Churchs doctrinal statement. Applicant must have a comprehensive understanding of the Bible. A theological degree or the willingness to obtain one is preferred. Applicant must possess the ability to deal effectively with all people in truth and grace. Applicant must have a demonstrated sense of integrity, proven leadership experience in a team environment, excellent work ethic and a high level of, not only personal motivation, but a desire and ability to motivate others. The individual must be a self starter and possess a combination of strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) consistent with the ministry style and strategy of the church. Candidate must be a natural forward thinker and problem solver, with an ability to alleviate problematic issues in a manner most beneficial for both short and long term goals.
