Were a 15-year old evangelical organization headquartered in CA, making a difference in the lives of abandoned, orphaned, and untouchable children in Eastern Europe and Asia. We provide the hope of Christ, along with life solutions for these poor, orphaned and neglected children who seem to have no hope at all. One of our major strengths is an effective staffing mix; over 80% are nationals serving in their home country. Another strength is our ability to minister to the 'whole child - mentally, physically, socially and spiritually. And finally, we strongly believe in maximizing all the resources God has entrusted to our international ministry.
Are you currently serving in a faith-ministry with a solid group of financial partners serving with you, and maybe God is tugging at your heart to make a change? Or are you still in the corporate world, wondering whats next in your life? Maybe youre about to retire and are willing to step out of the comforts of a set monthly salary and could raise any necessary support. Qualifications and Experiences:
> Committed to Christian principles, including living out those principles through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
> Previous management experience
> Excellent interpersonal skills
> Entrepreneurial thinking as demonstrated by a willingness to plan, organize and take risks.
> Desire to seek resources via grants from foundations and large donors
> Proficiency at managing a budget
> Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
> Financial Management:
Responsible for the finances of the organizations, accounting, and disbursement of funds. Additionally handling financial reporting, budgeting and an annual audit
> Human Resource Management:
Overseeing the continued development and implementation of personnel policies, ensuring full compliance of files and procedures
> Business Management:
Ensuring the organization is complying with all relevant laws of State of California and Federal government. Filing appropriate returns and reports in a timely manner
> Communications Management:
Ensuring marketing, promotion, and advertising of the organization through electronic and written media.
> Project Facilitation:
Assisting in the facilitation of interns and teams traveling overseas, particularly with respect to logistical, administrative, and financial issues
