Responsible To: COPA Project Director-Connie Dile
Responsible For: COPA Messenger, and School Maintenance Staff and Night Watchmen in conjunction with School Headteachers.

Duties:
Due to the nature of the project and the changing needs of the schools, the person in this position must have a flexible approach and be willing to become involved with any part of the project and will share in its overall management in the DR. However, the main duties of the Assistant Project Director fall into the following categories:

Finance
Advising the COPA committees of annual budget requirement
Preparing the quarterly budget requests
Managing COPA budget
Maintaining day to day accounting record

A two year committment, housing and airfare provided. Stipend. Position start date July 07.

Founded in England and Florida, COPA works in support of communities in the Dominican Republic. Since 1991, volunteers from the U.K. and the U.S., alongside the people from the villages, have built two schools, two pre-schools, two dining shelters and two kitchens. www.copausa.org
