Beulah Presbyterian Church, in the eastern suburbs at the crossroads of Penn Hills and Churchill, has an opening for a full-time experienced Custodian working 37.5 hours a week in the church and preschool.   The position is for evenings and every other weekend.  The Custodian reports to a Facilities Coordinator. 


The ideal candidate must have 2-5 years of experience in a large facility performing general cleaning and maintenance.  Demonstrated prior experience in tile floor maintenance and carpet cleaning required.  The successful candidate will be able to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks independently and in a timely manner; be flexible to changing work hours; maintain good communication with the supervisor and the congregation; keep the supervisor informed of progress; be able/willing to respond to requests for assistance with basic tasks on short notice that require a change in the expected routine.


The candidate must have a strong saving faith and be able to provide a brief statement of personal faith.   Act 33/34 Clearances will be obtained and employment will not begin until after the date of receipt of acceptable clearances.  Depending upon length of residency in Pennsylvania, FBI fingerprint clearances may also be required.
