POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES

 

HR/Benefit duties include:

  • Processing and oversight of HR workflow for new hires, changes and terminations, including form maintenance
  • Assisting with Benefit Administration, including annual open enrollment, census preparation, and employee communications
  • Acting as an HR and benefit resource for employee questions and intranet
  • Completing personnel manual updates
  • Assisting in the maintenance and updates of HR compliance posters
  • Filing/scanning HR and benefit paperwork 
  • Assisting with workers compensation claims and requirements
  • Maintaining employee birthday/anniversary calendar, including departmental gifts

 

Other Administrative duties include:

  • Internal event planning, including calendar maintenance and employee communication    
  • Providing general administrative and local office mail assistance
  • Other assistance as needed - phone calls, shipping, etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant required (Experience as an HR assistant is a plus)
  • Ability to learn and use general office equipment and computer software. Proficiency in Microsoft Word (60+ wpm), Excel and Outlook required.
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proofreading skills with great attention to detail
  • Reputation of integrity, even in conflictive situations, and ability to maintain employee confidence by keeping HR information confidential
  • Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to develop open and trusting relationships
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team
  • Ability to motivate him/herself to grow professionally and serve with excellence
  • Servant-hearted individual with a desire to work as a professional in a CPA firm with CapinCrouse’s focus, vision, mission and core values
