The Rekindling is a retreat and learning center serving pastors, missionaries and Christian leaders - our Mission is to ignite a passion for Jesus through rest, refocus, and leadership development. We do this by providing an intimate setting for leaders to rest, the option of coaching and prayer with staff (at the guest's request), and by providing high quality leadership workshops and coaching to help Spiritually Healthy Leaders finish well.
The right applicants will be a husband/wife team who will help us perform the guest-services jobs that have made The Rekindling a highly sought after intimate retreat location. Your assistance will help us continue exceeding our guests' expectations for peaceful atmosphere, delicious food, warm and comfortable facilities and grounds that exude rest and peacefulness. Your job well-done will make our guests feel as if they have been treated with an honor and respect such as they rarely experience.
The right applicants will be dedicated Christians with servants hearts who, while performing the guest services duties of the retreat center, will pamper our guests, and maintain our atmosphere of sanctuary and rest. They will be adaptable to a flexible work schedule, able to interact with guests, staff and volunteers while performing their job duties in a timely manner. The positions are live-in*, and are provided with an income as well as food/meals.
*Living Quarters: 3-room suite (approx 350 sq ft. and overflow living area)

* Experience in kitchen, housekeeping, and hosting duties
* Hands on skills in buildings and grounds maintenance, including grounds keeping, building maintenance with light carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical experience; (some light) mechanical work.
* This position offers opportunities for growth leading to management.
Due to limited housing space and the flexibility required to meet the needs of our guests we ask no children, no pets.
