The Tea Cup Cafe & Bakery in Challis, Idaho just celebrated its one-year anniversary. It has two dining rooms, an espresso bar, and a bakery with a wood fired oven. We also offer outdoor dining in our gazebo, on our patio, and around our fire pit.
We are looking for a chef to bring his or her culinary expertise to diversify our menu to include upscale, gourmet selections. We are able to provide fresh produce and fish. We raise and sell our own tilapia, and have recently completed an aquaponic green
house to grow our own vegetables and herbs. We will soon be adding fresh water prawns in our hatchery. We also raise Black Angus cattle on our ranch and are in the process of putting together a food-processing cooperative.
We are currently seeking a chef to oversee all kitchen responsibilities including, but not limited to the following: menu planning, food ordering, cook training, recipe development, and meal preparation.
Education/culinary experience required: minimum of two years of culinary school training or equivalent on the job experience. Wood fired oven cooking experience is desirable. Additional experience in pastries, desserts, and bread baking would be helpful.
