Job Description:

I.      Job Summary


      Performs duties assigned by Festival Director, including but not limited to informing pastors and church

      leaders of Crusade ministry opportunities, briefing and guiding mobilization committees, supervising

      assigned administrative support staff, and ensuring that all follow-up work is completed following

      Crusade services


II.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus  


  • Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
  • Consistently participates in daily BGEA staff devotions
  • Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks,

   policies, and expectations

  • Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of


  • Provides direction and guidance in the areas of Crusade principles of Prayer, Leadership, Training,

   Outreach and Discipleship, and implements these principles within assigned committees

  • Participates in development of Crusade working schedule
  • Briefs and guides leaders of assigned mobilizing committees
  • Establishes timeline to ensure that committee goals are reached, and monitors committee-related

   information on the Festival website

  • Works with Print Coordinator to ensure development of publicity materials
  • Oversees logistical support needed for special outreach activities, and negotiates contracts with

   vendors and technical support resources for committee-sponsored events

  • Assists with on-site arrangements for Festival Seminars, classes, rallies, and gatherings
  • Ensures that logistical needs of assigned committees are met during Festival meetings
  • Travels to other Festival cities, as needed, to assist in preparations


Marginal Duties and Responsibilities   


  • Assists in setup and dismantling of Festival Office
  • Networks Festival with other area Christian ministries/events
  • Assists Festival Director with other projects


III. Reporting Relationships


  • Reports to Festival Director
  • Coordinates with Local Committee Leaders, Festival Associates, Office Administrator, and other administrative support staff


IV. Job Specifications


A.   Skills and Knowledge


  •   Bachelor-level degree or related ministry experience in evangelism
  •   Fully bilingual in written and spoken English and Spanish
  •   Good computer and software skills
  •   Leadership qualities and good negotiation skills
  •   Heart for evangelism and servant orientation
  •   Understanding of, experience in, and ability to clearly communicate the vision and principles of Crusade evangelism
  •   Ability to work independently and to maintain confidentiality
  •   Ability to work closely with people at all organizational levels
  •   Ability analyze trends and to recommend necessary actions
  •   Ability to present positive image of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA)
  •   Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing priorities


B.    Physical/Mental Demands


  •   Ability to relocate to Festival assignments and/or to potentially travel as much as 180-240 days annually


C.    Working Conditions


  •  Work is typically performed in conventional office environments and in Crusade/Festival venues
