Job Description:

Group is seeking a Front End Developer (FED) to focus on design and development for the Corporate website along with 20+ other media properties representing our other business units. Environment is fast paced, production driven, and deadline oriented. This position is based in Loveland, CO.

 

Experienced FED will work closely with creative design and back-end development teams to create HTML/CSS-based content for desktop, iOS and other mobile platforms. Developer should have a basic understanding of back-end programming architecture and technologies used to develop web projects and mobile applications. Developer should have a high-level of knowledge in design toolsets, and the methods of transforming creative elements for use as HTML based content. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required with a minimum of 2-years of experience in web front-end development.

 

Reports To Ecommerce Director

 

Requirements for this position are as follows:

• Extensive knowledge in HTML and CSS

• Extensive knowledge in JavaScript/JQuery/Ajax

• Experience in JQuery Mobile

• Thorough knowledge of design tools including, Photoshop, Illustrator

• Ability to take a PSD/mock or concept and turn it into a working experience

• Experience in creating exciting experiences on the iPad, iPhone and other mobile devices that conform to W3C standards

• Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics a plus

 

Skills required to perfom this position successfully include:

• Demonstrate ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, effectively manage priorities and communicate progress

• Fresh ideas and diversity in style

• Works well in collaborative team environment

• Must have acute attention to detail

• Ability to design in addition to development makes you a stand out candidate

 

Education and/or equivalent work experience includes:

• Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in Computer Science, or Graphic Design

• 2-4 years as a front-end developer
