Group is looking for the perfect Customer Experience and Digital Marketing Manager for our VBS team. Could that be you? Can you picture yourself designing and delivering creative e-mail marketing? Like to spend time on Facebook and Pinterest? Does customer event planning appeal to you? If so, this could be your dream job!

The Customer Experience and Digital Marketing Manager position is responsible for all forms of the VBS outbound electronic marketing and social media. With a good understanding of e-mail design, production and strategy, you’ll get to communicate the fun and excitement of VBS to thousands of churches around the country. Plus, you’ll be the lead on our social media strategy and implementation, communicating with some of the most engaged customers anywhere (a.k.a. “VBS Groupies”). You’ll need to have a working understanding of basic HTML, CSS and Photoshop along with a good mix of creative skills (both visual and written).

The Customer Experience and Digital Marketing Manager is also responsible for planning and coordinating customer events including our VBS Fun Shops, Bookstore Previews, Trade Shows, VBS Field Tests and Ambassador Summits. Bring lots of enthusiasm and strong organization, management, and interpersonal skills for these assignments. You’ll be working with a lot of fun people with a lot of challenging deadlines. Some overnight travel will be required.

Other job requirements include the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. You’ll work daily with our awesome creative and editorial teams. Written, visual and verbal communication skills are a must. In addition, you will need to lead periodic group training so good public speaking skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is also required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with 2-4 years of marketing experience is preferred.
