Alaska Christian College serves Alaska Native predominantly.
1.Directs all affairs associated with financial management, systems, and operations.
2.Manages and administers accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting.
3.Acts proactively in all areas of student and staff financial affairs.
4.Serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
1.Bachelors or greater degree in accounting.
2.Great understanding and execution of internal control procedures.
3.Oversees in a timely manner all receipts to donors.
4.Proficiency in preparing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
5.Proficiency in filing and maintaining accounting records for annual audit.
6.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding donors and financial matters.
7.Detail oriented, with a high degree of accuracy and skill in all work performed.
8.Able to utilize QuickBooks and MS Office with high proficiency.
9.Functions well in a cross cultural environment, has a teachable attitude, is willing to be a team player, and demonstrates good communication skills with all people.
10.Oversees reconciliation of monthly bank statements, investment statements and records adjusting entries.
11.Proficiency and experience with both accrual and cash accounting system.
12.Files any and all tax-related or government required forms and reports.
13.Protects the organization's 501(c)3, tax-exempt status.
14.Provides financial and operational leadership to all areas of the Peninsula Conference Center and the New Hope Counseling Center.
