Job Description:

The Salvation Army Hickory, NC is looking for a Salvationist individual or married couple to administer The Salvation Army Outpost in Boone, North Carolina. The Outpost Director will oversee all Salvation Army operations in a three county area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; conducting worship services throughout the week, supervising a case worker and the Social Services program, building community relationships, fund raising and managing all aspects of a Salvation Army Christmas. The ability to speak in public is important as is a willingness to serve as a community leader. The position requires uniform wearing Salvationists who are in good standing with their Corps Officers, who have a background in Salvation Army ministry and have an understanding of The Salvation Army’s social ministry. Applicants should be energetic and on fire for The Lord with a willingness to serve.
