Associates are needed to provide support for Church Relations initiatives for
Operation Christmas Child through the high season of Church Relations efforts. These associate positions represent an invaluable resource to staff and volunteers in the region as those who strengthen relationships with past and current
Operation Christmas Child partner churches.
Essential to this role is a commitment to the mission of OCC and daily emphasis on telephone contact as the primary means of relationship development. Other duties include support of Field Office staff and Operation Christmas Child volunteers in their contact
with and service to churches, while regularly representing the ministry of OCC in communication with churches of many different denominations. Limited localized travel may be required.
Candidates will have completed two or more years of college education, and demonstrate flexibility, skill in written and oral communication and a sense of passion to facilitate involvement in the global outreach of OCC. Solid organizational skills and clarity
and cordiality in all forms of communication (especially telephone and email) a must. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office programs required, especially Excel.
This is a full-time, temporary position from July through November. Positions will require 40 hours per week in the office. Due to the temporary nature of these roles, local applicants are preferred.
