Audio & Video Production Assistance
Perform audio and video engineering as needed for Sunday services and special events as directed by the Technical Ministries Director.
Assist with set-up and tear-down of audio and video equipment used during Sunday services as well as other event times during the week as scheduled.
Production Assistants schedule will include Sundays and day/evening times as required by church event schedule.
Assist Technical Ministries Director with troubleshooting and maintenance of audio and video production equipment. Must have basic knowledge of acoustic design and architecture as well as electrical circuitry and be able to troubleshoot via equipment schematics and building plans.
Assist Technical Ministries Director with audio and video production services in studio and on-location to produce content for distribution via disc and internet as well as other networks where appropriate.
Must be knowledgeable in field recording and acquisition of both audio and video content.
Must be familiar with digital media production equipment including video and still cameras, microphones, DAWs, and other tools of the trade.
Must be able to work with both Macintosh & PC applications including, but not limited to - Avid Media Composer and Express with Mojo, Digidesign ProTools Version 7.4 and earlier, Apple Final Cut Pro and Logic Audio and all Adobe applications pertaining to video and audio production and web design.
Assist with audio and video disc production and duplication services as well as media archival procedures.
Must be able to work well with volunteer staff.
Production Assistant will be responsible for covering technical responsibilities and assisting volunteer technical staff in the event of the absence of the Technical Ministries Director.
Attend Technical Ministries Task Force meetings and all required staff and operations department meetings.
Assist Technical Ministries Director in the preparation of office documents related to Technical Ministries support including, but not limited to, maintaining appropriate procedure manuals, technical research, inventory control, agendas and meeting minutes.
Work closely with event and facilities scheduling personnel to update and maintain the accuracy of the Technical Ministries scheduling calendar.
