The Position

We are recruiting (6) talented leaders to enter into a Leader in Training (LIT) program. The LIT program is 8-weeks of sales and leadership training at Slingshot Headquarters in Mobile, AL. Recruits in the LIT program will be in-field selling with the other Leaders in Training. Recruits will also have Slingshot team members developing them, prepping them to effectively lead a team!

40 - 45 hours/week. Closed on Sundays. Once you log in your 8 hours for the day, you’ll get to put your toes in the water.

Upon graduating the 8 week LIT program, you will launch to a new market. One of the below cities is where you will begin to build your team as the Sales and Leadership Manager.

Major Responsibilities as the Sales and Leadership Manager:
  • Recruiting and hiring amazing sales team members 
  • Sales Training
  • Leadership Development (YOU grow AND lead your team to grow both personally and professionally)
  • Productivity
  • Leading and Managing a team of 8-15 salesmen
  • Responsible for all people in office and AT&T paperwork that needs to be turned in daily
A Day In The Life for the Sales and Leadership Manager:
  • Organize and distribute AT&T leads to the individual level
  • Interviewing potential new hires
  • Attending or conducting 30-minute impact training for entire team each week
  • Having one-on-one meetings with anyone needing more attention
  • Training new hires
  • Scheduling of observations with current team members for potential new hires
  • In-field selling to demonstrate and shadow what good leadership looks like or observe others selling
  • Reporting numbers at close of day

Pay Range:
During 8 Week LIT Program - expected to be $300 - $500 per week. Slingshot believes in their people and will provide meals and housing during the 8 week program. 
Sales and Leadership Manager (After Graduating the LIT program)
Base - $3K/month or commission if greater than $3K ($36K/year guaranteed)
1 - 3 year opportunity: $50K - $70K
3 - 5 year opportunity: $70K - $90K+
Bonus Structure:
Built in based on monthly team performance. 
Blue Cross Blue Shield provided after reaching a sales percentage trigger.
