Townhall is looking for an advertising sales executive with 2- 4 years of experience to sell advertising space for Townhall’s websites and in Townhall magazine. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment; understands
how to develop relationships with clients and close new business. This position will be based in our Arlington, VA office and report to the Director of Sales. Some travel may be required.
- Prospecting and cold calling advertising agencies and clients in assigned territory
- Ability to create advertising solutions based on client needs
- Collaborative work style and team attitude
- Self-starter who is motivated by making sales calls, meeting with clients and closing deals
- Ability to develop long-term client relationships
- Strong account management skills
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience using Salesforce.com or another CRM system
This position consists of a base salary plus commission. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
