Job Description:
Bellevue Christian School is seeking a junior-senior high principal for the 2009-2010 academic year. BCS is a 1100 student christian school located on three campuses. The junior-senior high has 500+ students.

Salary: Placement on Administrative Salary Schedule

Closing Date: March 13, 2009

Working Hours: Full time (235 Days)

Responsibilities: The Junior-Senior High School Principal must be a leader who works well with students, faculty and the BCS community. This leader needs to possess a proven understanding of the social, spiritual, and intellectual development of the 7-12 grade student, and will be responsible for directing and overseeing curricular continuity of all secondary students attending Bellevue Christian School. Leading in the secondary environment at BCS requires: strong leadership; the ability to relate well with students; faculty, parents and peers; a proven and effective team member; excellent communication skills; strong public speaking ability; a great sense of humor; commitment to high standards of excellence; and a vibrant faith evident in and through every aspect of leadership.

Requirements: School Administrator Certification; in agreement with BCS doctrinal statement.
