Group Sales Representative

The Group Sales Representative holds the primary responsibility for booking groups in a defined territory for Creation Museum visits. This person has heavy contact and influence with all AiG audiences including churches, schools and area community groups.
AiG currently has three positions available:
1.Ohio including Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Northern Kentucky
3.Kentucky including Louisville and Lexington, also Bus Tours
ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED:
1.Commitment to Christ and AiG mission
2.Solid prospecting, cold calling and negotiation skills
3.A self-starter - able to meet objectives with minimum direct supervision
4.Demonstrated history of meeting defined goals
5.Ability to develop relationships with various community groups and turn them into friends of the organization and museum
6.Excellent presentation skills - written and verbal
7.Time management and prioritization abilities
8.Strong computer and data management skills
9.High marks in integrity, creativity, flexibility and initiative
Education, training and additional qualifications:
1. Bachelor Degree
2. Minimum of 2 years outside sales experience - group sales experience a plus
3. Experience working with various Christian denominations a plus; an understanding of the differences between various denominations and an ability to work in a considerate, non-judgmental way with each is a must.
4. Strong connections with churches and groups within assigned territory a plus.
5. Understanding of basic marketing practices.
