Use programming skills to provide software solutions that enable Wycliffe USA to meet their information management needs.
While other duties may be assigned, the following are a minimal set of duties and responsibilities:
Actively participates with a project development team
Creates prototypes and functional specifications for software projects
Ability to create programs from technical specifications
Codes, tests and documents moderately complex programs according to department standards
Modifies and fixes problems in existing programs
Attend either in person or via conference call all team meetings and monthly department meetings.
Submit weekly and monthly reports in electronic format to the Systems Development Manager.

knowledge of or willingness to learn:
o Visual Basic
o Use of APIs
o SQL (a requirement)
o Oracle databases a plus

demonstrated ability to code, test and document programs of moderate complexity

Good written and verbal communication skills for effective communication
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, proportions, and percentages Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to understand and interpret complex data
Experience in analysis of complex functions, procedures, and problems to find effective solutions
