Many have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ! Then consider using your IT Skills to expedite Bible translation for them as a business analyst. There are three vacancies for this position. In this role, the business analyst leads the Wycliffe entity serviced in defining and implementing business or operational requirements. The analyst then assists with technology selection and evaluation, i.e., in the form of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) or modified off-the-shelf (MOTS) vendor products or custom hardware and/or software solutions to be developed internally at Wycliffe, or in collaboration with external professional consulting or contracting services. To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor degree in MIS, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience, with a minimum of three years as a business or systems analyst, preferably in a large MIS environment. Position Description:
To work with administrative staff in departments, sections and/or enterprise teams to conduct analyses of existing or proposed business processes and systems.

Position Responsibilities:
Process, Data, and Systems Analysis
a. Deal with complex data issues, high level requirements of integration with existing and future processes and systems across the organizational boundaries.
b. Gather information and develop system requirements, process models, data models, and other analytical output necessary to re-engineering or systems development efforts.
c. Employ industry-standard analysis and design methodologies as appropriate.
d. Some specific tasks may involve:
Independently develop approaches to complex systems, process redesign, and analytical problems
Design and conduct data gathering efforts and analyze results
Produce workflow analyses and requirements statements
Develop data and process models

2. Testing and Evaluation
a. Design and conduct a variety of tests to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of final product.
b. Design testing strategies and produce test plans for application development projects.
c. Design and conduct usability studies. Employ prototypes, and other tools in individual user tests throughout design and feed results back into development.

3. Development Project Team
a. Participate in large (multi-person) application development projects, contributing to all aspects of the system development process.
b. Contribute to analysis, logical design, testing, installation and roll-out.
c. Employ industry standard tools and techniques in analysis and design, including data flow diagrams, entity-relationship models and object analysis.
d. Work within agreed-upon project goals, milestones and deadlines.
e. Work effectively in a team-oriented environment under the direction of the project leader.

Position KSA Competency:
Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated skills in some of the following business analysis methodologies; structured techniques, data modeling, workflow analysis, and object-oriented analysis.
Working understanding of client/server and web-based technology and concepts.
Track record of performance as effective analyst in team-based environment.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Demonstrates desire and ability to support corporate Biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work related spiritual activities without mental reservation.
