Job Description: Human Resources Administrator
The Human Resources Administrator (HRA), is responsible for implementing BEE Worlds Human Resources Policies. The HRA currently reports to the Director of Administration, but will eventually be reporting to the Director of Human Resources once the position is filled.
Implement BEE World application and acceptance policies, including documentation of necessary paperwork.
Upon acceptance, work with new missionary by sending out information, processing hiring forms, setting up health and retirement benefits as applicable, working with VQA to set up support account, collect and archive hiring documents in missionary personnel file.
Implement policy concerning DiSC Profile testing for new missionaries. Assist missionary in taking test, disseminate reports to appropriate personnel, and archive copy of test in missionary personnel file.
Assist missionary in support raising process when necessary. Compile initial support raising information packet. Once completed, provide new missionaries with information packet, resources, and assistance as necessary. Work with supervisor and missionary on support raising plan and goals.
Work in conjunction with new missionary and supervisor to help build an adequate personal and ministry budget including benefit, salary, mission overhead, and ministry funding. Have budget approved by supervisor and General Director prior to implementation.
Review each missionarys budget annually to assure both personal and ministry funding needs of missionary are being met. If necessary, work out support raising goal in order for missionary to obtain and maintain support level needed.
Perform quarterly review of missionaries that are under funded. Work with missionary and supervisor to develop a goal to achieve proper funding.
Work with department heads to develop an adequate job description for each position within BEE World.
Implement method of regular job description reviews (perhaps once every two years) to make sure they are still accurate and relevant.
Work with task force to develop an adequate performance management process.
Once developed, ensure the performance management process is implemented. This would include notifying supervisors when reviews are due, collecting reviews, and filing in employees personnel files.
Work with task force to decide the best way to use our resources to improve inter-office and employee communication.
Compile and edit monthly e-letter to all staff.
Design, develop, and maintain HR portion of intranet site.
Work with task force to establish criteria for exit interview. Perform or assist in the performance and documentation of exit interviews as necessary.
Maintain employee contact information.
Work with task force to publish BEE Informed newsletter as necessary.
Must have good administrative and project management skills.
Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including good knowledge of Excel.
Must be a detail person.
Enjoy improving processes and infrastructure.
Enjoy working with people and meeting their needs.
Experience in non-profit Human Resources or Accounting will be a benefit.
It is assumed that the Human Resources Administrator is a mature Christian and exhibits the fruit of the Spirit in all aspects of life.
