Job Description:

Salem Web Network is seeking a Marketing Analyst to develop and maintain a comprehensive and robust reporting program for the Marketing division of Salem Web Network. The Analyst will also be responsible working with Development and Team Leads to scope and report on key metrics for initiatives and projects, updating and manipulating data within CRM systems, and conduct routine analysis and KPI reporting, including but not limited to: SEO, Site Traffic, Mobile Traffic, Marketing programs (email, social media, SEM), Advertising campaigns, Client & Ad Network campaigns, and Competitor analysis
.
This role offers a unique blend of operational analysis with a keen stake and interest in marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be extremely analytical, have experience with digital marketing, a familiarity with the faith-based marketplace, and have a passion for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics. Candidates should have knowledge of various internet marketing channels, search engines, social media, analytics packages, statistical analysis, and general marketing principles. Other attributes include a well-rounded knowledge of the Web, as well as a thorough familiarity of leading trends in usability.

 

Responsibilities:
Developing automated process and user friendly KPI reporting solutions for Marketing & Operations:
o Measuring website traffic (page views, visits, sources, bounce rate)
o Analyzing health of email programs (engagement, growth, activity, attrition)
o Measuring referral traffic (social media, mobile)
o Measuring SEM campaigns (engagement, CPA, spend)
o Analyzing vendor results (co-registration, affinity programs)
o Analyzing clients and ad network campaigns (RPM/eCPM rates, revenue, opportunity)
• Analyzing large data through data mining and predictive analysis
• Manipulating large data sets from CRM and Email databases for maintenance
• Utilize analytical and research tools for competitive intelligence
• Maintaining Google Analytic profiles, support, and updates
• Assist with Ad Hoc projects and reporting

 

Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or equivalent business field
• 1 -- 2 Experience in online marketing, marketing program management, search engine optimization, web analytics, or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience applying statistics, data mining, and comprehensive analysis and reporting
• Expertise using MS Visual Studio, Excel & Access, and SQL
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills

 

Preferred:
• Experience building predictive and forecasting models
• Experience with Python, Hadoop or similar languages
