We are a major international Christian Faith Ministry in need of a Bookstore Manager. This position is responsible for the day to day operations and activities of our store and staff including policies, procedures and programs to meet or exceed sales, profits
and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate must have strong leadership ability and knowledge of retail operating principles. Additional requirements include:
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in retail, preference given to candidates who have worked in Christian bookstores.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
- Ability to influence, train and develop staff for maximum results
- Extensive knowledge of retail operating procedures, cashiering, and computer skills, experience with Bookstore management software a plus.
