Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Publisher, to be responsible for knowing, loving, and serving specific audiences with content that helps them know, love and serve Jesus Christ. This position is responsible for establishing, connecting with, and growing these audiences, and helping to achieve the performance goals of the publishing group.

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Connect with and build relationships within audience networks and among audience leaders
  • Influence the audience with Moody Publishers (MP) content, positioning titles and messages appropriately so as to create audience awareness and facilitate ordering of MP resources
  • Engage with Associate Publisher on acquisitions planning, idea development, and innovative strategies for achieving success as defined by the group's business plan
  • Engage with content development, connection, packaging, and CRM staff to execute the publishing group's objectives
  • Represent MP at appropriate events and gatherings of the target audience
  • Analyze and report results of audience influence efforts as set forth in business plan
  • See that all necessary metadata is available in PPM according to publishing schedules
  • Perform related and special duties as assigned

  • Entrepreneurial thinker with innate gifting as a "brand evangelist" and tribe-builder
  • Well-connected with and committed to the target audience
  • Fearless and sincere, with a good eye for opportunity and high "communicator" strengths
  • A grassroots organizer, influencer, and networker, who knows how to get results, make things happen, assess ideas, and measure the return on promotional initiatives
  • Able to negotiate orders (in coordination with sales) and position our products for primary exposure and distribution within audience concentrations
  • Technical enough to exploit all the capabilities of a CRM system
  • Strong theological grounding, and an appreciation for Moody's platform
