P/T Promotions Assistants
Salem Communications in Atlanta is looking to add to our Promotions Team as we grow and expand our reach in the Atlanta market. We are currently looking for people to fill the role of Part-Time Promotions Assistant.
This position will work with our Promotions & Event Coordinator to help fill out our “street team” and to represent our stations at events. This is perfect for that “foot-in-the-door” opportunity to break into Atlanta Radio and a great opportunity for anyone
interested in a career in public relations, marketing, radio or another communications fields.
Primary responsibilities will include assisting our Promotions and Event Coordinator with the execution of our events. Whether you are hanging banners, running our photo booth, handing out promotional items and more, you will be engaging with our listeners
and advertisers on a daily basis. Promotions assistants should be dynamic, friendly, and full of life -- they are the heartbeat and face of our stations! An eye for detail and the ability to proactively solve problems are also traits that make for an exceptional
Promotions Assistant. Additional responsibility may be given to those candidates showing proficiency in website and social media maintenance.
The ideal candidates will exude passion and professionalism combined with healthy doses of contagious energy, smarts and fun…and yes, even a sense of humor, because let’s face it, you have to be able to laugh when it’s raining and you’re stuck in it until the

of the everyday menial and mundane tasks. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 pounds.
