Group Publishing, a Colorado based company and the leading provider in products and services for the church, is actively looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking leader to join our Finance team as a Controller. This individual must see the vision
beyond the numbers and whose big-picture thinking is grounded in solid experience and education. This position reports directly to the CFO and is responsible for all financial functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, contracts and copy rights,
administration, general ledger, cost accounting, financial planning/analysis, taxes, financial statements, working capital and investment management. We’re looking for that self-directed individual who can relate to others within all facets of the organization
and at all levels within those business units. If you have a desire to grow a fast-paced company, possess an entrepreneurial mindset and would enjoy working with our tremendous team in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, then we’d like to talk with you. A Bachelors
degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience, and a thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required. The candidate must also have a minimum 5 years of supervisory/management experience,
excellent communication skills, and strong operational focus. An MBA or CPA is an asset. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
