Position: Account Executive/ Freight Broker


Location: Hoover, AL 

Company Revenue: 4.6 million in 2012


We are currently looking for an account executive/ freight broker for our client, Transportation and Logistical Services in Hoover, AL. TLS is committed to providing superior shipping solutions while providing outstanding customer service. Our client is committed to honesty and integrity in all it’s dealings with customers. 


The position would find and retain new customers, cover loads/ shipping for customers, qualify carriers, handle all problems with loads as well as communicate with existing customers for new opportunities. To do this job well you must love to solve problems, get excited about serving customers and be self motivated!

Position Requirements: 

  • 1-2 years of Account Executive/ Brokerage Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Existing brokerage portfolio a plus


Compensation Structure: 

  • Base Plus Commission- 
  • Base salary (dependent on experience and book of sale): $35,000-$55,000
  • Commission Structure: Paid Monthly based on margins/ total revenue of loads for the month (0-$6,000 monthly in commission depending on performance)
