Position Summary: Works with the management team to develop and build strong community relations. Generates promotions that build image, awareness and brand identity in the Seattle market. Reports to: General Manager and Local Sales Manager. This is a Full-time position. Duties:Organize community events. Work closely with outside promoters to increase stations presence. Create, manage and update databases for different projects. Create Calendar of Events. Assist with the creation of the “Loyal Listener Club”. Handle Press Release for the station. Organize on-air promotions and prize giveaways. Work with on-air Hosts, Local Sales Managers and Program Directors. Perform web-site maintenance. Manage the promotions budget. Skills: College degree or relevant work experience. Bilingual. Able to work weekends and evenings. Excellent computer skills-Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher . Very organized, detail oriented and efficient. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment. Excellent communication, presentation and people skills. Creative. Able to lift heavy boxes and drive company van. (Must have a valid WSDL). Must follow company policies and procedures. Personality Traits: Must be a high-energy team player, have a positive attitude, be accessible, approachable and have a passion for our stations.
