The Director of Resource Development raises funds and support for Children's Hunger Fund, a Christian non-profit organization focused on alleviating the suffering of children by equipping God's Church to communicate the Gospel through effective compassion ministry. This person develops relationships with key friends of the ministry and nurtures them to become motivated donors who share a heartfelt connection to CHF's mission.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develops and maintains donor relationships, individual and corporate. Identifies, solicits, cultivates, maintains and regularly reports on prospective and existing donors and all related activity. Meets resource requirements in terms of monetary and product donations. Represents CHF at various events, speaks publicly and travels occasionally. Qualifications
Has received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Growing in a personal relationship with Him for at least five years. Active membership in a local church. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Two years successful resource development experience, five years experience in fundraising or sales or two years full-time ministry experience. Computer literate. Organizational skills. Able to meet deadlines. Can establish and accomplish goals. Inquiries
