Job Description:

Director of Faith Children's Center Daycare



- Must be a solid and spiritually mature follower of Jesus- preferrably Baptist

 -Must have experience as a licensed director of Daycare for the state of Texas

- License must be current and without deficieny

- Must be willing to serve and embrace a calling to the ministry of Jesus Christ           




Lead Weekly Bible Study with teachers:

  • Tuesday from 12-2pm encourage all teachers to attend weekly study. Lead in prayer and study.
  • Pray with teachers upon arrival to work (7am and 10 am), keep prayer requests
  • Pray with teachers and parents as needed for encouragement and caring

               Support teachers with curriculum, materials and supplies:

  • Provide curriculum with textbooks, worksheets, craft supplies
  • Provide daily Bible instruction and associated craft
  • Provide training in lesson plan preparation, executing of curriculum, craft ideas, supplies
  • Ensure every teacher has the necessary annual training for licensing, is prepared to drive the daycare van, has current SIDS and shaken baby, CPR/first aid
  • All teacher’s need a valid driver’s license
  • All teacher’s must have defensive driving
  • Plan all field trips including transportation, fees, associated meal and permission slips.

               Administrate all booking for daycare;

  • Be sure all teachers have properly completed all forms for employment
  • Perform all necessary drills, check all alarms for properly working batteries
  • Ensure all background checks, fingerprinting is up to date
  • Turn in all FCC payroll, keep a monthly budget for FCC and FFK
  • Do a daily building check
  • Be sure to follow proper closing procedures for FCC
  • Assist in setting pay rates for parents who qualify for reduced rates
  • Keep all records current for financial records, FFK, NCI
  • Hire teachers as needed
  • Keep front office staffed Recruit, employ, train, direct, evaluate and fire teachers as needed
  • Recruit, employ, train, direct, evaluate and fire teachers as needed

               Work with parents to ensure optimal communication:

  • Schedule parent in-service training for spiritual growth such as healthy eating, money management, and parenting skills.
  • Encourage high level of professionalism among teachers
  • Encourage high level of cleanliness among teachers and children

               Oversee Food for Kids program:

  • Send in receipts for purchased food and supplies monthly
  • Send in income eligibility forms for new children
  • Certify snack count for each month and maintain records for four years
  • Attend all FFK training

               Oversee NCI records:

  • Ensure NCI records are correct according to our attendance.

               Abide by all licensing standards
