Strickland Christian School is seeking a part time computer lab teacher for third through eighth grade students. Classes are held a total of eight hours per week during four afternoons. Applicants must have a personal relationship with Jesus, love children
and have some college. The applicant must be able to teach keyboarding skills, word processing and other computer applications through assigned projects. An understanding of the Lego Mindstorm programming system is a real plus. Our lab is equipped with very
powerful Mac mini computers that are about three years old. The computers and software are easy to navigate and fun to use.
The position pays about $7,000.00 to 7,200.00 per year for the nine month session. There is also a small bonus which may be earned for good attendance. Teachers report for meetings and training on August 21 and school is out May 27. Strickland students are
well known for their great behavior and advanced academic skills. Our typing/computer program is both enjoyable and challenging for our students. Strickland School has a very low employee turnover because our teachers and staff love our working environment.
