Job Description:
We are currently looking for experienced Business Development Specialists to represent the entire Group of companies, products and services. You will work and develop new customer relationships for steel fabrication needs, within the oil and gas industry, industrial customers, custom manufacturers by providing milling, machining, welding, laser steel cutting, wet coat and powder painting, and large volume production fabricators.

• Make regular sales calls to develop new customer relationships
• Ability to clearly understand customer needs and assess sales opportunities within each account
• Effectively present our products and services
• Create and present technical sales proposals to sell across all levels within the organization
• Create and implement a strong sales and market opportunity plan for each account
• Successfully manage customer requirements in conjunction with Pro-Fab Group manufacturing capabilities
• Be able to provide quotations and complete sales opportunities
• Provide excellent customer service to all accounts within your territory
• Stay current of competitor’s products and offerings in the marketplace
• Identify competitive threats inside each account; be proactive to secure further business
• Plan customer calls while minimizing travel expenses.
• Responsible for achieving goals for revenue and gross profit
• Respond promptly to all RFI’s, RFP’s, and site visit requests
• Provide regular feedback to the General Manager on customer product requirements
• Work with the General Manager: set and meet daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals and keep updated weekly for the General Manager to review

• University degree is an asset or a minimum of 2 years of industry experience
• Proven successful business development track record
• Goal oriented, self directed, and self motivated
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong industry contacts and affiliations is an asset
