Job Description:
The Pregnancy Care Center of the Susquehanna Valley, a Pro-Life ministry located in Central Pennsylvania and affiliated with CareNet, is seeking a new Executive Director. The Board of Directors seeks to hire an individual of excellent character and ability as early as February 1, 2009. Nevertheless, the position will remain opened until the right individual has been identified.

The primary responsibility of the Executive Director is to lead the Pregnancy Care Center to meet its vision, mission and objectives as established by the Board of Directors. The Executive Director has full responsibility to oversee the operation of The Pregnancy Care Center, including implementation of policies and procedures as approved by the Board of Directors, hiring, firing and supervision of staff, raising necessary resources and program operations. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors.

The Executive Director must demonstrate excellent Christian character and maturity, together with a lifestyle that clearly testifies to a deep and personal faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The right individual will have a proven track record of translating that faith into their daily interaction with staff, volunteers, clients, the Board of Directors and others with whom the Pregnancy Care Center comes into contact.

The Executive Director must be a college graduate, with a degree and experience in a relevant field.
