Radio Traffic Assistant Opportunity in Portland
Get involved in the exciting career of radio! Salem Communications of Portland is looking for a well organized, detail-oriented person who will be co-responsible for creating continuity in the flow of work between sales and production.
Duties include but are not limited to: Enter new contracts, contract revisions and co-op into the Traffic system. Print contract confirmations for filing. Maintains and updates client filing system. Completes all required continuity components. Submits
production, programming, and web order forms to appropriate departments. Tracks the status of all submitted forms. Communicates any form/order revisions to appropriate departments. Troubleshoots problems for sales staff. Schedules all national network
spots weekly and completes weekly affidavits. Assembles, edits, and prints the logs for the following day to be placed in studios upon completion. Electronically reconcile logs daily. Phone duties required once a week.
Radio experience preferred. This position requires excellent written and verbal communications skills, experience with Word and Excel and also demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good problem-solving skills, meet strict deadlines
and must be able to handle interruptions. Bilingual Spanish helpful. Experience in MS Office a must.
Our traffic system is WideOrbit. Knowledge of this system is a major plus.
