Who are we looking for?
In addition to identifying and agreeing with our Statement of Faith, qualified candidates for this position include those who have experience in business to business sales, sales training, consulting, and coaching; developing and executing sales strategies and tactics; executing large scale sales and marketing change management initiatives; and presenting and facilitating in a group setting.

What’s distinctive about this position?
This position has the unique opportunity to develop and execute sales strategies and training programs that promote and reinforce ECCU’s value proposition to its current and prospective customer base. This is a single incumbent position and the Sales Training Manager will be given the full responsibility for developing and maintaining a full-cycle sales training program.

What are some responsibilities of this position?
•Collaborates with senior sales management team to further refine ECCU’s sales training philosophy and integrate into a strategic training plan.
•Conducts initial and ongoing needs assessment evaluations to determine the high priority training/coaching needs of the sales organization.
•Develops or selects sales training curriculum for all enterprise sales force and sales managers to develop sales skills and sales processes.
•Develops sales training classes, workshops, modules, and tools and facilitates training.
•Assesses and measures sales force effectiveness, and prepares and distributes periodic reports to sales management.
•Works with individual sales staff members to coach them on achieving the highest levels of effectiveness.

2. Design/development of performance improvement interventions
3. Change management
4. Management development
•Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) of outside sales experience.
•Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales training position with specific expertise in presentation and coaching skills.
•Strong project management skills.
•Certification / completion of various sales training programs.
•Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and strategic planning capabilities.
•Demonstrated commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in Business, Training and Development, or Organizational Psychology preferred.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
•Occasional local and long distance travel required.
