DEPARTMENT AND SUPERVISOR: Publications Department. Pastor Craig Gorc; Senior Associate Pastor POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a full time (40-hours per week) junior–level Graphic Designer to join our Bothell location. We want someone that likes to blur
the lines between market, positioning, strategy, creative and church. We want a thinker and a maker. We want a collaborator who is not afraid to run a department on very little. We want someone that loves working with people that use words like “Jesus.” Maybe

God is doing in the passion He puts in the hearts of His people. REQUIRED EXPERTISE: • BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or other design–related discipline • Demonstrated excellence in graphic design with 3+ years experience working in-house
• Fluent with Creative Suite 4 and above • Basic knowledge of HTML and CMS RECOMMENDED ExPERTISE: • Considered an expert by your peers in one of the following areas: (graphic design, brand design, art direction, design strategy, communications, marketing)
• Microsoft Office BONUS POINTS: • Non-profit experience • Interactive Media (Flash, After Effects, Premiere Pro) • Web Development • Social Media • Marketing • Project Management CLIENT FACING SKILLS: • Act as strategic consultant for all incoming jobs •
Excellent communication • Ability to maintain frequent contact with internal clients through email, phone and in–person meetings COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Candidates must have strong presentation, verbal and written skills. He/she understands the business environment
and what clients need to make something actionable. This person knows how to make clients feel comfortable throughout the innovation process. Additionally, successful applicants understand the value of design and brand within a design and business context.
Candidates can share and influence through an ability to articulate concepts clearly and in a compelling way and a base level of graphic design skills to support it. He/she has an intuitive sense about what is important to deliver and how to deliver it. Style
matters as much as substance. Adhering to Branding Guidelines matters even more. LEADERSHIP SKILLS: Successful applicants have achieved high-quality work output through collaboration with others. They have the ability to lead and inspire diverse teams through
collaboration and respectful influence, not control, as well as direction, vision and planning. The ability to relate to individuals and nurture their vision is critical in this role and environment. SELF DIRECTION: Candidates should possess the experience
to act independently without guidance. They know how to size up a problem, discover opportunity and propose possibilities. They must be able to plan ahead and act accordingly. Applicants should have 3 years of content-related design experience, preferably
in a variety of industries or products, supported by project management capabilities, client facing skills, comfort working in multidisciplinary teams and excellent communication and organizational skills. LIFESTYLE STANDARDS: Candidates need to recognize,
