Computer Resource Team is looking for a Microsoft Network Engineer for a 6 month contract to hire position in Richmond Virginia. Our client is a large faith based organization aimed at spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in networking, server operations, and working within a datacenter.
Must have skills:
Networking: Routing, Switching, Virtualization & Load Balancing, VPN, Encryption, Policy & Security, Performance, Back-ups, Deployment of new servers, and Troubleshooting work with Windows 00’ and 03'.
Servers (Predominantly MS-based): Operating Systems, Directories & LDAP, Policy & Security, Virtualization & Load Balancing, Performance, Application Architectures & Middleware.
Data Center: Re-Design, Racking, UPS, Power Distribution, Power Management, Cooling, Cabling, Environment Controls, Construction.
Storage (Predominantly EMC-based): Fabrics, SAN, NAS, Replication, Policy & Security, Virtualization & Load Balancing, Performance, and Information Lifecycle Management
MSCE or MCP, but equivalent experience would be a plus
Cisco knowledge a plus
Packateer knowledge is a plus
VMWare experience, Cisco experience, and/or SAN experience would be a plus.
