A Salem Communications Account Executive generates revenue by developing market potential through managing an account list, prospecting new accounts, lead generation, qualifying new opportunities and extending existing ones, proposing solutions to clients, providing reasonable and reliable projections, and closing sales.

Job Responsibilities Include:
* Developing Strategic “Solution-Oriented” Marketing Campaigns for Prospective and Current Clients
* Delivering Sales Presentations to Business Owners and Executives
* Find and Set up Meetings with Prospective Business Owners/Clients
* Exceed Sales Expectations and Goals
* Build Strong Relationships and Customer Loyalty
* Come up with Creative Marketing Promotions and Ideas for Current Clients and Prospective Clients
* Work Closely with Production Director, Traffic/Web Team to ensure seamless execution of Marketing Campaigns
• Participates in and represents stations at civic clubs and networking opportunities within the community
• Participates in station events, supporting each event as determined by management
• Responsible for keeping commitments in a timely manner and resolving issues promptly
• Account Servicing & Collections


• Excellent presentation skills
• Outstanding communications skills both oral and written
• Ability to effectively communicate and interface with peers as well as executive level management
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent organizational skills, able to set priorities, and responsive to customer request & management
• Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines
• Demonstrates business knowledge and ethical behavior
• Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred

• Radio Experience Preferred but not necessary
