Creative Dining Services, a Food Service Hospitality Management Company, is looking to hire a Catering Manager at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.
The Catering Manager works to ensure that excellence in customer service is being provided throughout each catered event, while assuring that food is presented attractively, and in a fiscally responsible and sustainable manner, according to customer wishes
and company standards. Works professionally and cooperatively as a valued member of the hospitality management team, assisting with any aspect of the hotel and dining services operation necessary.
Must possess a positive, can-do attitude, be detail oriented, and have well rounded knowledge of the food service and/or hospitality industry. Must maintain professionalism at all times, and work with the public, as well as clients, colleagues and staff in
a cooperative manner, even while working under pressure. Willing to engage actively in the physical work of a high quality food service operation. As a representative of Creative Dining Services, must function in accordance with our corporate Mission, Vision,

• Advanced degree desired, Bachelors in hospitality, business, management or related field preferred
• 3+ years supervisory experience
• ServSafe Certification
• Knowledge of proper table service techniques and design preferred along with a flair for creative food and table presentations
• MS Office product computer skills, ability to learn event management software
