Job Description:

Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services is seeking a 

Director of Outcomes and Data Management Specialist to manage an agency wide outcome measurement process that is designed to measure the effectiveness of the Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS) Way program. This person will work with the Vice President of Residential Services to collect and report data that will be analyzed by team members to continually improve the quality of services.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Organize and implement the procedures for all residential staff to administer the Client Directed Outcome Informed (CDOI) tools
  • Track use of CDOI measurements and report findings to VP Residential
  • Maintain a database to manage all CDOI data
  • Provide oversight to the collection and quarterly reporting of CPS outcomes (PMET)
  • Work with Program Directors to ensure implementation of PCHAS PAL program in group homes
  • Establish the process by which all youth ages 16 and older complete the Ansel Casey Life skills Assessment 
  • Collect and organize data from Life Skills Survey and copy to Group Home Supervisors and/or the Family Team binder for each youth
  • Track individual and aggregate Life Skills data and report on progress from year to year
  • Work with the Director of Education to gather, organize and report on youth grades and TAKS/STAR test scores
  • Work with Director of Education to decipher outcomes to Home Parents, tutors, teachers and others as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:  This person will not directly supervise but will work collaboratively with numerous employees throughout the PCHAS system. This will require a high level of finesse, encouragement and cooperation.


Working Conditions:  Person must be able to use a computer and other electronic equipment as needed. Person will spend some time in an office setting and time in the field working in group homes, offices, school settings, etc.


Job Requirements:  A PhD in Psychology or a related field is a plus. Experience in outcome measurement and work in residential settings is valuable.  Licenses and Certifications: Appropriate licenses and certifications to support the stated educational level



  • Highly organized and able to collect large amounts of data and organize those results in clear      and concise reports.
  • Strong understanding of computer programs utilized to process and analyze outcome measurement data.
  • Thorough understanding of the PCHAS Way philosophy of care and the subsequent program goals.
  • Understanding of the various outcome measurement goals and how instruments will be presented, completed and reported in the most effective ways.
  • Strong team work propensity a must. This person will need to be very cooperative and able to build strong alliances with other professionals who are collecting the outcome data.
