Tyndale House is seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies and plans for product lines within one of Tyndale’s publishing groups.   This position will work to effectively position Tyndale’s products in the market and to stimulate demand for products on both the trade and consumer levels.  Key to this position will be a candidate’s ability to effectively present the marketing plans to authors and agents and cultivate positive ongoing working relationships with them.  An excellent candidate will have experience working with internal departments and outside suppliers to execute plans in a timely manner within tight budgets.   Ideal candidates will have experience in trade and consumer advertising and public relations, as well as proven abilities in social media and on-line marketing.  Experience overseeing development of promotional copy and advertising creative is desired. 



Qualified candidates should have a BA degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field and a minimum of three years in a marketing related position. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and project management skills.   Budget management, good organizational skills, negotiating skills and creative problem-solving abilities are a must. Team player, initiative taker, and self-motivated would describe the candidate we’re looking for! Strong sales or client service experience is a plus. Publishing industry experience is preferred.
