World Orphans, is a Christian Evangelical ministry based in Monument, Colorado, that committed to rescuing millions of orphaned and abandoned children, the strengthening of thousands of indigenous churches, and the impacting of hundreds of communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ…through the cost-effective funding of church-based children’s homes in the least reached areas of the world. World Orphans is need for a full-time Director of Finance.

Director of Finance

The Financial Controller will be responsible for the oversight, management and leadership in the areas of finance, internal control, auditing, and financial systems management for the entire organization and its ministries. This will be accomplished by overseeing financial and accounting system controls and standards, leading and directing the finance department, maintaining the financial health of the organization and participation in strategic planning. This person will also provide strategic consultation with regard to ministry prioritization, resource allocation and all financial issues.

In addition to having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreeing with our Statement of Faith, candidates considered for this role will have experience overseeing and directing various enterprise finance functions including financial analysis, profitability, and asset liability management.

Since World Orphans is a non-profit organization which seeks to maximize the use of their contributions, this staff position is self funded by 100% personal support raising.
