Accounts Payable Assistant



Salem Communications is the leading U. S. radio broadcaster targeting audiences interested in conservative NewsTalk and Christian and family-themed programming.  We currently have a full time position available for a Accounts Payable Assistant in our corporate office in Camarillo.


Primary Responsibilities:

The perfect candidate will be able to process invoices and check requests, review general ledger coding and monitor expense reports.  The Accounts Payable Assistant will resolve issues with vendors and analyze and reconcile vendor accounts.  A strong emphasis on internal and external customer service and guidance as needed.  Assist with special projects as assigned. 


Desired Job Experience:

4+ years of accounts payable experience in a public company preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Office. Knowledge of Great Plains helpful.

High level of analytical and problem solving skills and an ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize in order to meet deadlines.


Desired Education or Degree:

High School Diploma a must; College Degree preferred.
