Job Description:

TEAM is a robust user of Information Technology, depending on IT technologies to provide for the information needs of a workforce that serves in over 30 world areas.  The primary responsibilities of the Application Systems Analyst will be to design, implement and support TEAM’s application and database environments.

Full-time position at Carol Stream, IL office.  Benefits include paid vacation and holidays, healthcare benefits, retirement plan benefits and free coffee.  (We stock Mountain Dew, but it is 40¢ a can.)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop and maintain:
    • complex SQL queries to extract data from application systems for use in reporting or       data extracts
    • complex reports using MS Access, MS Excel, and SSRS as needed
    • program code required to support 3rd party and custom application systems
    • application testing procedures
  • Design, implement and perform routine maintenance protocols and procedures (such      as backups and log truncation)
  • Collect and  translate organizational requirements into business-appropriate and technologically-efficient solutions
  • Maintain current knowledge of best-practice application development and database architecture
  • Maintain stored procedures, reports, and scripts offering both guidance and optimization for the current environment
  • Provide second level application support for end-users

 Key Skills and Requirements:

  1. Working knowledge of SSRS and Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 & 2008
  2. Working knowledge of Crystal Reports 9 and above
  3. 3+ years managing databases in a Microsoft SQL environment
  4. Working knowledge of VB and VBA
  5. Experience with Visual Studio 2008/2010
  6. Working knowledge of .NET Framework a plus
  7. Working knowledge of SharePoint 2007/2010 a plus
  8. Working knowledge of current web development standards (e.g. HTML, CSS,      JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, etc.) a plus
