Bi-Lingual Board Operator/Assistant Producer

Position Summary:                 

Board Operator - Performs duties related to running audio board and automation system for talk shows and other station programming.  Responsibilities include monitoring status of transmitters via remote software, monitoring air signal of all cluster stations, ensuring programming and commercial inventory airs as scheduled, and other duties as assigned by Operations Manager. 


Coordinating Producer – Assists station host with gathering news and other materials for weekday Spanish news program.  Additional responsibilities may include scheduling guests, maintaining and updating Social Media sites for program, maintaining program archive, and other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

$11.00-$13.00 D.O.E.



This is a Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt position



Paid parking



Part Time/ Varies. Primarily Monday thru Friday 5:30A – 9:30A.


Requirement of Position:       

Must be fluent in Spanish and English.  Have working knowledge of audio automation systems, phone screener software, audio boards, audio recording equipment, ISDN and TELCO systems, and remote transmitter monitoring equipment


Personality Traits:                  

Flexible, organized, team-minded individual with good organizational skills. Able to work with little supervision. Good interpersonal skills are a must with the ability to adapt to a changing and challenging environment.
